About the Speaker

Christa Morrison is a Business Systems Specialist at McMaster University, where she supports the responsible use of AI-enabled and automation tools to improve processes across administrative and academic environments. Her work focuses on helping staff, faculty, and institutional teams integrate AI into everyday workflows in ways that are practical, transparent, and governance-aligned, while ensuring humans remain meaningfully involved in decision-making.

Christa specializes in translating emerging AI and automation capabilities into clear guidance, realistic use cases, and shared understanding. She works closely with partners across IT, HR, governance, and academic units to build AI literacy, reduce operational risk, and support sustainable organizational change.

Through hands-on learning programs and communities of practice, Christa helps teams move beyond experimentation toward responsible AI adoption at scale. She is recognized for her ability to humanize complex technology, empower learners, and design adoption approaches that prioritize trust, accountability, and people.

Keynote Topic

Business Analysis in the Age of AI explores how AI-powered tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot are transforming the Business Analyst role. Participants will learn how AI can support key BA activities—including elicitation, analysis, documentation, and knowledge sharing—while understanding the continued importance of human judgment, validation, and responsible AI practices. Attendees will leave with practical examples of where AI can enhance productivity, where caution is required, and how Business Analysts can adapt their skills to remain effective and accountable in an AI-enabled workplace.
